By Gary Cutlack on at

Some users who've upgraded their iPhones to iOS 8 are experiencing mystery battery drain and Wi-Fi connectivity problems, echoing the issues that usually appear after each of Apple's mammoth software upgrades.

According to a whinge aggregation special compiled by PC Mag, complaints this time mainly focus on Wi-Fi issues, with rogue phones said to be very, very slow at connecting to routers and reporting extremely slow internet speedtest results. Other users upgrading older models to iOS 8 reported massive battery drain issues, with one user complaining his useful uptime had dwindled to around four hours post-upgrade. [PC Mag via MacRumors]
