National Geographic's Monkey-Snappers List 10 Best Compact Cameras

By Gary Cutlack on at

The wildlife and scenery photography experts at the National Geographic have put together a list of the 10 best compact cameras it thinks money can buy, ideal if you want to document your next holiday in a little more clarity and detail than that afforded by the Moto G.

According to the National's list, theĀ Fujifilm X-T1 is the one you want if your baggage allowance doesn't stretch to bringing a full size, full-frame, full-body camera, with the likes of the FujifilmĀ X-T1 and X-E2, the Olympus E-M1, Panasonic GH4 and GX7 and Ricoh's GR making up the rest of the list.

Sony sort of wins by getting three mentions in the top 10, with its a7s, a6000 and RX10 all getting the cheesy smile from the photography experts. [National Geographic via PetaPixel]
