The National Videogame Arcade is the name of Nottingham's latest attraction, with the £2.5m building set to open in early 2015 and give games their very own artistic epicentre.

Organised by the team behind Nottingham's popular GameCity annual expo, the five-floor exhibit in the centre of town will contain 12,000 various games and their associated artifacts, with GameCity's director Iain Simons, saying: “For the first time ever, a civic, cultural and academic space will be dedicated to the public’s relationship with video games."
