Google Said to be Throwing Money at Magic Leap Oculus Rift Rival

Google and some of the other cash-rich Silicon Valley giants are said to be keen on investing in a secretive company known as Magic Leap, one that claims it's developing the next-generation of realistic VR wearable tech.

Magic Leap's CEO Rony Abovitz has previously said the company's looking to create "the most natural and human-friendly wearable computing interface in the world" and one that offers a more realistic take on VR than Oculus, and although nothing's actually been shown-off in public, it must have something good to demonstrate behind closed doors if rumours of a $500m investment round are true.
