Around £10,000 of smartphones may have been nicked from the pockets of gig-goers, after thieves targeted a Kasabian concert in Glasgow last week.
Sources say "dozens" of phones were stolen from attendees at the band's Hydro gig, with police confirming that "a number" of crimes were reported.
Police say gigs are routinely used as a rich source of saleable material by gangs, with bouncing drunk people less likely to notice their pockets being rifled through. And Kasabian fans are less aware of their surroundings than most people to start with. [Daily Record]
