Apple Watch Factories May Start Running in January

Rumours from the Chinese gadget manufacturing scene suggest Apple's nearly ready to start making the Apple Watch a real, physical thing you can financially ruin yourself buying, with the production lines set to start churning them out in January.

According to the United Daily News, Apple has issued the instruction to have 24 million of the posh new watches built in the first year, a process that has seen manufacturing partner Quanta boost its workforce from 3,000 to 10,000 this year to cope with anticipated western demand for the wrist-mounted notifications centre.
