Chinese Android Maker Says iPhone 6 Ripped off Their Design

By Gary Cutlack on at

The maker of a cheap Chinese Android phone being sold under the name 100+ has published a legal letter it sent to Apple's people, claiming the design of the iPhone 6 may infringe on patents it acquired in January of 2014.

The phone, pictured above, appears to be one of your usual Android black rectangles, with not a great deal of design similarity to the iPhone 6 on the surface. The letter specifies one particular patent maker DigiOne owns, although it stops short of saying whether it's a patent for something external, internal, or if it's somehow managed to patent the concept of having a camera around the back.
