If your golfing handicap is in need of a helping hand, head over to Mallaig's Traigh Golf Course, where a three-metre-deep, seven-metre-long sinkhole has appeared. Holes-in-one for all!
Now fenced off on the nine-hole course (or should that be ten-hole?), it's thought that it'll cost around £16,000 to repair. While it's not quite as impressive as some of the international sinkholes we've seen, it'll still take 200 tonnes of sand to fill. And it's no less terrifying to imagine standing over the spot as it collapsed. [BBC]
