Don't Eat Stolen Fish off the Road, Warns Belfast Council

Belfast City Council is warning residents to steer clear of dodgy fish, after 600 fell of a lorry in the city -- and were scooped up happy locals.

The haul of mackerel was dropped over the weekend, with photos showing some locals filling up carrier bags with the meat. The council warned that: "...there is a possibility of the fish being contaminated through direct contact with the road, rendering it unfit for human consumption." [BBC]
