Fujifilm X-A2: An Updated Entry-Level Mirrorless for Selfie Lovers

By Jamie Condliffe on at

Fujifilm has updated its affordable, entry-level mirrorless camera, the X-A2. The interchangeable lens camera now features an LCD screen that pivots 175 degrees—so, yes, it'll be useful for selfies. But there's more, too.

Inside, there's a 16.3 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, wireless image transfer and an improved autofocus. The bundled Fujifilm optically stabilised 16-50mm (24-76mm-equivalent) f/3.5-5.6 lens has been tweaked, too. The camera with that lens costs £449.99; there's also option to add a 50-230mm (76-350mm-equivalent) f/4.5-6.7 lens, the UK price of which will be confirmed closer to time of launch.

The camera will be available in brown, white, and black versions next month. [Fujifilm]
