Let This Daft Punk-Like LED Bike Helmet Light Up Your Headspace

By Gary Cutlack on at

This glorious crash hat is what £85 gets you these days in the heavily accessorised world of cycling -- a brain protector fitted with 10 LED lights to tell vehicle drivers there's something not entirely encased in a metal shell in their vicinity.

The T1 helmet, which is finding its way in stores come February, charges via USB – naturally – with its maker claiming it'll be good for 12 hours of on-time per charge, so is properly "I got lost going the scenic route"-proof.

You'll also look amazingly cool and can imagine you're on a Tron bike riding through the innards of some future supercomputer, right up until it gets punched off your head by a furious van driver. [Torch via Cycling Weekly]
