Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's new online book club currently has 180,000 members just three days after launching, as his followers clamour to join in with his 2015 book reading odyssey.
The Year of Books Facebook page currently recommends reading and commenting on serious workplace title The End of Power by Moisés Naím, as part of Zuckerberg's 2015 promise to read a new book every fortnight. Selected titles aiming to "emphasize learning about new cultures," so don't go expecting to enjoy any any accessible crime romps.
"I've found reading books very intellectually fulfilling," said Zuckerberg, as if he's the first person to ever install a copyright-free edition of Moby Dick on his Kindle. [Independent]
