Twitter's launched two big new social things today, in an attempt to fend off some of the newer, hotter, younger imaging and chat apps. Most notable is the addition of video capture to the mobile app, letting users record, edit and share clips of up to 30 seconds in length.
iPhone users can import and edit existing videos from their camera roll too, a feature that's "coming soon" to the Android version. As for group messaging, that's built around creating groups to continue chats -- which can be pulled in behind the DM doors to keep things private when they turn too HOT for public consumption. The new app should be rolling out right now. [Twitter]
