Watching a WWII Bomb Detonated in Hackney is Surprisingly Underwhelming

The Germans are still raining death down on the capital, with a newly discovered WWII bomb being detonated in Hackney. No wonder so many people are voting Ukip.

Here's the moment some trees wobbled a bit as the controlled blast went off, as captured by a local CCTV camera more used to watching 14-year-olds getting drunk while trying to find an open Wi-Fi signal:

A local man found the unexploded mortar round while digging his garden commendably early in the season. Authorities moved it to the park to be safely detonated. [YouTube via Standard]
