Save Yourselves: Burger King Now Delivers in the UK

By Gerald Lynch on at

Stuck for tonight's dinner? If you've won the fast-food postcode lottery, Burger King's got you sorted -- it's announced that it will now be taking delivery orders in certain regions across the UK.

Only a trial at this stage, Burger King is running the service out of eight restaurants, catering to the junk-food desires of Northampton, Romford, Truro, Hornchurch, Gants Hill, Hull, Skegness and Hayes. Eligible postcodes get deliveries for free, with Burger King accepting orders online and over the phone, 12pm to 3pm, 6pm to 10pm. Should the three month trial work out, Burger King will consider taking the scheme nationwide.

Somewhere, the pagan god of Cholesterol is laughing heartily, his five bellies wobbling their way through a 20 foot dining table stacked to the ceiling with Double Whopper Meals, brought straight to his doorstep. [Burger King]
