A rumour based entirely around what a man in a shop heard suggests Apple's been working on improving the durability of its forthcoming Watch, with company boss Tim Cook said to have told a man it's now waterproof enough to be worn in the shower.

According to Apple Insider, the story goes that Tim Cook was chatting with employees at the Apple Store in Berlin, where he told a man that the more recent incarnations of Apple Watch are sturdy enough to stand being worn in the shower. Expect all the traditional watch manufacturers to leap on this new "waterproof" bandwagon now, too. Oh, hang on... [Apple Insider]
