As the world becomes ever-more aware of hacking and online threats, police forces are becoming increasingly showy when it comes to cracking down on the perpetrators in an effort to deter would-be hackers.

The UK's National Crime Agency (NCA) revealed today that 57 people have been arrested as part of "Cybercrime Strike Week", which saw 25 co-ordinated operations take place across England, Scotland and Wales. Local forces and the NCA's National Cyber Crime Unit teamed up to tackle those responsible for DDoS attacks, data theft and network breaches, including taking into custody (according to the BBC) a member of Lizard Squad, the scallywags responsible for ruining Christmas.
