How to Get an IMAX Screen Installed in Your House

By Gary Cutlack on at

If your one-time cutting-edge 32" Samsung HDTV is no longer cutting is as the focal point of your living space's entertainment zone, it might be time to upgrade. Just £1.8m could get you the home cinema setup of everyone's dreams.

Courtesy of IMAX Private Theatre -- the bespoke home wing of the massive cinema screen provider that's now accepting orders in the UK -- you could have a mini-IMAX installed in a large spare room "within a matter of months" should you meet its criteria for signing up to the credit agreement.

With the screen measuring 12 feet high, the boss of IMAX's home division suggests it's mainly for "high net worth" individuals with unusually large basements, or yachts with an abundance of space. [Standard]
