Nike+ Support Comes to Gamin, TomTom and Other Fitness Wearables

Nike has just announced that a whole bunch of devices are about to be updated to support its Nike+ fitness apps.

TomTom's Runner and Multi-Sport GPS Watches, alongside gear from Garmin, Wahoo Fitness and Netpulse, will all play nicely with the sporting goods giant's popular smartphone app. Depending on device, you'll now be able to upload your running pace, routes, calorie counts and more to Nike's fitness platform, letting your track your workouts and battle friends for top NikeFuel counts. With Nike apparently no longer interested in making its own FuelBand devices, the move sees Nike+ increasingly becoming a platform in its own right, device agnostic as Apple's Healthkit and Google Fit prepare to shake up the scene.
