An "experienced" fraudster managed to trick his way out of prison by faking a web site supposedly belonging to the court service and declaring himself a free man in some believable emails. So prison bosses let him out.
He's now about to go back in again, though, as the court at Southwark Crown Court heard that three days after his clever administrative escape he instructed his solicitor to confess to his illegal exit. He was re-arrested, and is now back in jail for his part in a previous series of frauds. [Court News]
