Ryanair Won't be Going Transatlantic After All

By Gary Cutlack on at

Ryanair has gone on the record to quash previous rumours that it was about to launch flights to the US, saying it "...has not considered or approved any transatlantic project, and does not intend to do so." So forget the dream of a £10 trip to Miami.

According to the FT, Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary said no one from the company had corrected the earlier statement as the office was empty due to St Patrick's day celebrations. [Mashable]
