A lot of people have been hoping that today's Apple event would see the launch of an updated Macbook Air. We saw the announcement of the brand new 'New Macbook', but Apple also announced that the current Macbook Pro and Air models will be getting a small revamp.
The updated Macbook Pro will come with an 3.1GHz Intel i5 Processor (boostable to 3.4GHz), an Intel Graphics 6100 GPU, flash storage that's twice as fast as its predecessors, and a boosted battery life that offers 10 hours of regular use and 12 hours of iTunes movie playback. Prices range from £999-£1,399.
The 11-inch and 13-inch Macbook Airs will now be available with 2.2GHz Intel i5 processors (boostable to 3.2GHz), an Intel HD Graphics 6000 GPU, and Thunderbolt 2. The 13-inch model will have faster flash storage, making it twice as fast as the current model. Prices for the 11-inch model range from £749-£899. The 13-inch model will cost between £849 and £999.
All three models will be available later today.
