Got Filth? Head to We Buy Any Porn (.com)

A porn book shop has come up with a novel way of staying alive in the internet era, by offering to buy up the unwanted porn collections of ex-partners, the suddenly converted, and even the secret stashes of the recently deceased.

The site claims to offer a discreet service and is happy to buy either the one-off magazines of the curious or the whacking great crate-loads from the painted-black cellars of the extreme enthusiast, claiming to have "contacts in all genres and across the world" to enable the seller to get the best possible price for their job lot of pornography.

The company founder, who spoke to the Standard and would like to be known only as "Dave," explained: "We're getting quite a lot of calls from people who don't know what to do with their porn, and from families who have lost an uncle, or a father or grandfather, who have discovered boxes of small amounts or large amounts [of porn] in garages or garden sheds."

If you discover your dear granddad's historic collection may have one or two things deemed too dodgy to be admitted to or passed on, that's OK too -- the company has a shredder to get rid of any images that have strayed onto the wrong side of the law.

That said, the company intends to redistribute as much of the material as possible, with the eco-friendly disclaimer at the bottom of the page saying: "We have a strong recycling ethic. Our very business is based around giving new life to old items and letting new people enjoy them." [Webuyanyporn.com via Standard]
