The days of Jeremy Clarkson presenting Top Gear may be over, thanks to the presenter punching his producer after a spat over food. This probably won't be the end of Clarkson's TV career, because he's already hinted that he'll return to our screens with a brand new car show.
Speaking in his weekly column in the Sunday Times, Clarkson said that the age of 55 is probably too early for him to retire, but admitted that's it's a bit late for him to move onto something other than cars.
After explaining the days leading up to the now-infamous fracas, Clarky concluded with this:
"Which is why I have made a decision. I have lost my baby but I shall create another. I don’t know who the other parent will be or what the baby will be like, but I cannot sit around any more organising my photograph albums."
So it certainly sounds like Jezza will start working on a brand new car show in the near future. As for who will be involved, there are a couple of car-loving ex-presenters constantly moaning about being unemployed on Twitter.
I for one hope that the trio get back together in the immediate future for a new adventure-based car show called Short, Fat, & Slow. [Business Insider]
