UK Has Bugger All Chance of Winning Eurovision, Says Bing

As the Eurovision Song Contest prepares to grace our screens as it does every year, there may be some insane folk in the UK that believe the country's entrant for this year, Electro Velvet, stand a chance of winning. According to Microsoft, however, there's about as much chance of that happening as there is of Ed Miliband being Prime Minister during the next five years.

Well, technically Electro Velvet has better odds: after analysing the mood on social media, various search trends and historic voting patterns, Bing Predicts states that the British duo has about 0.1 per cent chance of winning this year. So slightly more than Ed being PM. But not much.

In other news, water is wet, the sky is blue and if Electro Velvet buck trends and win this year, it's likely to cost the UK a bomb to host the Eurovision next year. So the news from Cortana and Bing ain't all bad, innit?
