Boom... and nothing. A hockey puck doesn’t break when you freeze it in liquid nitrogen and then smash it with a hammer or drop an 36 kilo weight on it. But that’s because hockey pucks are meant for the cold, right!? Well, even if you go the opposite way and try to torch it with the vaunted red hot nickel ball, the fireball hardly leaves a mark.
This must mean the hockey puck is the strongest material on Earth.
