PC Gamer Hosts the First Ever Computer Gaming-Focused E3 Conference Tonight

By Gerald Lynch on at

E3, that annual behemoth of the games industry calendar, is all well and good if you're a console gamer. But what if you couldn't give a toss about Final Fantasy remakes or Uncharted's Nathan Drake having a natty new jeep? If you find the thought of playing a shooter without a keyboard and mouse horrifying, tonight's PC Gaming show, brought to you by PC Gamer, will be right up your street.

Teaming up with AMD, our buddies over at PC Gamer will be hosting the first-ever PC Gaming Show, a showcase dedicated to the very best in computer gaming.

Kicking off at 2am UK time, the PC Gaming Show will be hosted by Sean "Day[9]" Plott, and will feature appearances by Dean Hall of DayZ fame, Cliff Bleszinski of Boss Key Productions, and developers from studios including Blizzard, Bohemia Interactive, Cloud Imperium Games, Tripwire Interactive, Square Enix, Obsidian, Paradox, Devolver Digital and the Humble Bundlers.

"We’re living in a golden age of PC gaming, but unlike other platforms the PC has no format holder, no marketing department, and—until now—no event during E3 week purely devoted to it," added Tim Clark, global editor-in-chief at PC Gamer.

"We think a show like this, which brings together people from every corner of PC gaming to celebrate the exciting things happening, is long overdue. We hope you’ll join us, in person or on stream, to be part of it."

Set to be livestreamed on Twitch, hit the source for all the details on how to tune in. [PC Gamer]
