A few days ago we brought you news that BlackBerry might be making the switch to Android, and dumping its own BlackBerry 10 operating system. Now we're hear rumours of what the device will have hiding inside.
According to N4BB, the slider phone is codenamed "Venice" and will have a 5.4-inch display (nearly as large as iPhone 6 Plus), and be powered by a 1.8 GHz 64 bit hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, with 3GB of RAM on the side. This is about in line with other companies' flagship phones on the market right now.
Perhaps most interesting is that the rear camera is said to be a whopping 18MP, with the front camera being a moderately impressive 5MP.
Obviously this is still all rumour at this stage, but it does seem increasingly likely that BlackBerry will be admitting defeat of its own OS and going with Google's operating system. We'll keep you posted. [N4BB via Trusted Reviews]
