Transport Police Rescue Tired Bee From Car Dashboard

The imminent farming apocalypse that'll be triggered by the death of the bees has been delayed for a few seconds by the brave work of some transport police in Cambridge, who interrupted their rounds to issue emergency treatment to a tired bee.

The officers administered a spoonful of sugar and water to the distressed insect that was found on their dashboard, before warning it not to get itself into such a state again and driving it home. The officers posted news of the emergency on Twitter, using the tag #MaketheDifference. [Independent]
