Even Cleaning the Osprey V-22 Looks Cool

By Casey Chan on at

Here’s a great shot of a US marine cleaning the tilt rotors of a MV-22B Osprey. Seeing the rotors this close, the marine dwarfed by their size, with us unable to see the rest of the aircraft, makes the rotors seem connected to a monster of a machine. Stunning.

The Marines writes:

A Marine with the “Greyhawks” of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), wipes down an MV-22B Osprey after takeoff and landing drills at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The Marines are in Kenya to support President Barack Obama’s visit.
