HTC Aero May be a High-End Stopgap Emergency Flagship to Salvage 2015's Dignity

A mystery source claims HTC may be planning to relegate its current One M9 high-end model to the discount rack of history already, with a model known as the HTC Aero being prepared to bring a QHD display and more power to its 2015 range.

The rumour comes via HTCViet which, if the internet and Google has translated everything accurately enough and it was right in any way to begin with, says the HTC Aero could arrive with a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution display, fronted by a slightly curved piece of glass for extra glamour. HTC's previously claimed it has a new "hero" model in preparation for launch in October -- a window it's traditionally used to launch rather dull mid-range phones and minor tweaks of the high-end model it puts out in the spring.
