Cars? Check! Guns? Check! Action edited together so quickly you can't really tell what's happening or what's real but it's probably all very exciting? Check!
The full trailer for this year's Bond Event Spectre has gone live today, at the ungodly, editorially awkward time of 8:00am BST. It's now available for viewing over at www.007.com, and we've also embedded it below. Driving and explosions, etc, follow:
We also have this synopsis of the plot courtesy of the marketing company, which explains: "In SPECTRE, a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE."
The term "layers of deceit" is a bit worrying, as it sounds like it's going to end up being one of those films it's impossible to understand because everyone's a quadruple agent and swaps sides a few times, before it ends with all the people pointing guns at everyone else while running around a burning Pinewood Studios set. We also suspect that Bond might get shot in the shoulder but live, probably also limping though the final few scenes.
Anyway. There it is. New Bond. Are you excited? Or will it be another elongated Sony advert with XPERIA logos peppered throughout, and the villain plotting to take over the world thanks to the processing power of PS4(TM)? And how's Bond going to get on the internet seeing as Sony doesn't own VAIO any more? So many questions.
