Aaron Sorkin's Steve Jobs Movie Gets Another Trailer

By James O Malley on at

More footage of the forthcoming Steve Jobs biopic penned by West Wing writer Aaron Sorkin has been revealed in the latest TV spot for the movie.

Michael Fassbender stars as the eponymous 'hero' of the film, as the Apple founder is shown battling the company's board in the 90s, dealing with his estranged daughter and at the launch of the iMac. The film is based on Jobs' authorised biography by Walter Isaacson and is directed by Danny Boyle, who is perhaps better known for his work on 28 Days Later, Sunshine and the opening ceremony for the 2012 Olympics.

Here's the full theatrical trailer, which was released last month and will be comfortingly familiar to anyone who has seen Aaron Sorkin's work in the past. It even features The Newsroom's Will McAvoy himself, Jeff Daniels.

The film is due for release on the 9th October.
