The internet was barely trickling into most homes when Star Wars: The Phantom Menace arrived in cinemas, so it was easy to keep all of the accompanying toys and collectibles under wraps. But as is apparent from these The Force Awakens figures popping on eBay, it won’t be so easy for Disney and Lucasfilm to keep secrets this time around.

What’s particularly interesting about the upcoming line is that each figure will come with a unique accessory—either some kind of weapon or tool—that connect to accessories from other figures to form larger, droid-like, creations. So even if as a collector you’re not a completist, you still have a compelling reason to hunt down all of The Force Awakens figures in the line. It’s almost like Lucasfilm and Disney have had some practice when it comes to selling toys. [Chuck Dukas via Toyark]
