An astronaut -- a proper one who went to the moon and not just someone who paid the Russians for a holiday on the Space Station -- has claimed NASA is covering up the existence of aliens, and these aliens have been interfering with our lives for decades.
The claims come from Edgar Mitchell, a man had a stroll around the moon on public expenses as part of the Apollo 14 mission and was the sixth human to walk on the moon. Speaking to the Mirror, Mitchell outlined his beliefs in alien intervention, saying: "White Sands was a testing ground for atomic weapons -- and that's what the extraterrestrials were interested in. They wanted to know about our military capabilities. My own experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth."
Mitchell says he's corroborated these claims with other ex-military people now gone completely bonkers who say they saw mysterious things in the skies during the Cold War period, adding: "They told me UFOs were frequently seen overhead and often disabled their missiles. Other officers from bases on the Pacific coast told me their [test] missiles were frequently shot down by alien spacecraft." [Mirror]
