Its all-female cast may be battling against some pig-headed resistance, but Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot has just secured pulled off quite the coup, securing Bill Murray OG (original Ghostbuster) for a role in the film.
This is particularly impressive, as Murray has resisted all previous attempts to slap a Proton Pack on his back again, even when the promising Ghostbusters 3: Hellbent script was circulating. Murray played Peter Venkman in 1984 and 1989's Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, so it's likely he'll be reprising that role once more.
He'll be joined this time around by ghost-busting newcomers Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth, while another Ghostbusters OG, Dan "Ray Stantz" Aykroyd is rumoured to make an appearance too. Keep an eye out for slimey spectres hitting cinemas once more on July 22nd, 2016. [Hollywood Reporter]
