LG isn't a stranger when it comes to the world of smartwatches, but leaks suggest that the company is working on a brand new device to add to its smartwatch line-up. It won't just be your bog standard smartwatch either, it'll be a watch specifically designed with sports users in mind.
These leaks haven't come from the usual rumour mill channels either, the information we have has arrived thanks to the US FCC which posted pictures and information online. We don't know very much about the watch at this point, but it's apparently being worked on under the model name 'LG-VC110', as well as having a 1.77-inch display, large black strap, Wi-Fi, micro USB charging, and some resistance to the elements.
It's not clear what OS the watch will be shipped with, however. It was assumed that it would become LG's next Android Wear device, but sources told Slashgear that it would skip Google's watch OS in favour of a lower price point.
We don't know when the watch will arrive, but we are only a few weeks away from the annual IFA conference in Berlin. That seems like the obvious time to start revealing new smartwatches to the world, but we'll just have to wait and see. [Trusted Reviews]
