Noel Gallagher Not a Fan of "Orwellian" Apple Music

That man who did some songs about beer in the 1990s has had a microphone thrust in front of him again, fulfilling his current role of having some amusing opinions about a topic that's currently in the news. It turns out that Noel Gallagher is not a fan of Apple Music and still uses the f-word in every sentence.

Here, because he always delivers a good soundbite, is what Noel Gallagher said about Apple Music in the latest edition of the Varvet International podcast: "Apple Music, world radio: is that some sort of George Orwell shit going on? How can you be so arrogant that you can say, ‘We now fucking own world radio.'"

Noel's also not convinced by the Connect feature that lets you see what other people, some famous, are listening to, adding: "Who cares what fucking Thom Yorke is up to? Seriously, who gives a shit? I'd find it creepy if everyone wanted to know what I was up to."

It's quite odd to see Gallagher throwing around terms like "Orwellian" when he's previously said that books are a waste of time and that he spends all of his time thinking "This isn't fucking true" when reading fiction. Like we said, he's good for a quote. [Guardian]
