A new mobile player has entered the UK this week, with MVNO Rok Mobile offering a calling and data SIM bundle that also includes the option to stream as much music as you want, without using any of your data allowance.
Rok Mobile is a virtual network reselling the bits of the frequency operated by Three, so if you can get Three you can get this. The deal sees the network offer just one SIM on a rolling monthly basis, for £24.99. That gets the user a 4G connection along with 4GB of data to burn through, plus unlimited calling minutes and text messages -- along with the music.
This music part of the service is accessed through smartphone apps, with Android and iOS options available. The company claims to have bagged access to an archive of 20 million tracks to choose from, plus 2,000 can be pinned to your device at any one time for when network conditions aren't as ideal and robust as the advertising makes them appear.
There's also the option of a 30-day test drive SIM option, which gives potential signer-uppers a free SIM plus 250 calling minutes, 500MB of data and 500 SMS messages alongside the music service, for a one-off fee of £9.99, should you need to see if Three's network works down your way before committing to the stress of a number port to make it all official.
