Where and When You Can Buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus

By Gary Cutlack on at

If you're one of the outsider weirdos who does their phone-buying in the late-summer window instead of during the spring new launch frenzy like normal people, there's good news -- Samsung's got another one. It's the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus which our syndicated man didn't really like very much -- but don't let that put you off as he's probably an iPhone 4 user.

From Samsung

The even smaller minority of people who buy phones direct from the maker will be able to do so, BUT NOT YET -- there's only a pre-order page up on Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge Plus page at the moment, accompanied by a "TBC" price. You can have it email you when it's live.

EE

EE has said it will have it, which is not particularly surprising seeing as one of its main business activities is selling phones. It'll be open for pre-order on August 18, plus it'll support the network's built-in Wi-Fi calling options. Register now and an algorithm will email you when it's buyable.

Three

Three says it'll be stocking it on contracts, which is not particularly surprising seeing as one of its main business activities is selling phones. It will share the pricing information with us later. Blessed shall we be on that special day, particularly if it's less than £34 a month.

O2

O2 is stocking the "hotly anticipated" phone, which is not particularly surprising seeing as one of its main business activities is selling phones. It'll have the Platinum Gold and Sapphire Black versions of the S6 Edge Plus on its usual contracts. It says it'll be sending them out on September 4th.

Mobile Fun

Poor old Mobile Fun is a SIM-free retailer, meaning it has to reveal the phone's actual RRP -- an amazing £699. If you can blow that much on something that may well end up falling down a pub toilet on a Friday evening, click here. It's only got the Sapphire Black/32GB one.

You will need to have some money to make the companies give you the thing, or must at least be prepared to promise to pay the bearer of a piece of paper with your signature on some money in the future, probably at regular monthly intervals. So there. That's how shops work.

Where Can't I Buy It From?

This is by no means a complete list, but we can confirm that the following places won't be stocking the S6 Edge Plus:

  • Oxfam
  • Clark's
  • Help the Aged
  • Regatta Outlet Store
  • Greggs
