Apple has just announced the iPad Mini 4, promising that the device will take the power of the iPad Air 2 and put it in a small device. It weighs just 0.6 pounds (272 grams) and will retail for $399 (£259 d/c) over in the US.
Rumour is that this might well be the last iPad Mini the company releases. Now that we have the super sized iPad Pro and big-screened iPhone 6 Plus that kind of makes sense.
Apple also took this opportunity to update the prices on existing iPad Models. The iPad Mini 2 is now the new entry-level model at $299 (£196), and the iPad Air 2 now costs $499 (£325), and the original iPad Air costs $399 (£260).
