A man bravely and futuristically travelling the streets of Enfield on a Segway had a bit of trouble this weekend, after a gang of men jumped out of a car, hit him, and stole the modern unicycle from him.
The Met Police describes the crime as follows: "An 18-year-old man was travelling along Enfield High Street on his Segway scooter when a black Ford Focus stopped in front him. Four men got out of the car and surrounded him. One of the men hit him in the face and took the scooter off him, getting back into the car with the scooter and driving off in the direction of Edmonton."
So if you see some youths on a North London street wobbling about and laughing, or are offered a Segway without a charger in a pub for £100, grass them up. A man's lost his favourite toy. [Met Police]
