Apple's Beats Pill+ App is its Second-Ever Piece of Android Software

Apple just launched its second-ever Android app, and it’s to help you control the new Beats Pill+ speaker.

The new piece of software is pretty simple: it allows you to control what’s on the play list, keep an eye on battery life, give the speaker a name, and link up two of the devices for stereo sound. Given the speaker isn’t iOS specific, Apple was required to release an Android app

Incidentally, the first ever Apple-made Android app was its Move to iOS, which is only around a month old. Given Apple has already said it will take Apple Music to Android later this year, maybe we’re witnessing the start of a new trend... [Play Store via Verge]
