Coppers have arrested a 16-year-old boy from Feltham in connection with last week’s massive TalkTalk hack. The west London whippersnapper was nicked on suspicion of Computer Misuse Act offences, but has already been bailed. Earlier this week, a 15-year-old lad from Northern Ireland was arrested (and bailed), and it’s also believed that investigators have poked around for suspects in Liverpool.
Whoever was responsible managed to break into TalkTalks's systems and leak the personal details of up to 4 million customers. If the guilty party does turn out to be one of the young chaps already in the frame, he's likely to be both bollocked and praised. After all, whoever was responsible obviously has mad digital skills, which is exactly what authorities say our nation is worrying short of right now.
