To Whom It May Concern: Please Remove This Ugly Piece of Sh.. Art From The Middle of Budapest

By Attila Nagy on at

Dear Mr Artist, this is just not the way to turn an iconic photograph to sculpture. Robert Capa is spinning in his grave. Please, take your disgusting polystyrene work out of our sight.

Everybody knows this legendary photograph taken by Capa, the famous Hungarian war photographer and photojournalist, of Spanish anarchist militiaman Federico Borrell García at the very moment of him getting fatally shot in the head:

On the 8th of October, 2015 this 4-tonne, 7 metre high thing appeared in the middle of the Hungarian capital:

According to artportal.hu this cheap, and awful artwork will remain its place until the end of October. García is dead. Capa is dead. I hope somebody is going to kill this abomination with fire.
