George Lucas, Star Wars creator, philanthropist, God amongst men, has decided to have a little fun at Star Wars nerds’ expense. Speaking with Vanity Fair this week, the big man claimed he’d most like to be Jar Jar Binks if he had the choice of magically being transformed into one of his characters, knowing full well that everyone hates the floppy-eared oddball.
Echoing JJ Abram’s recent comments, he also admitted that he dislikes the pressure that comes with deciding where to take Star Wars. “You go to make a movie and all you do is get criticised,” he said. “And it’s not much fun. You can’t experiment.”
