Google Chrome Will Soon Be as Dodgy as Internet Explorer for Windows XP, Vista and Old OS X Users

Google is ending support for Chrome on Windows XP, Vista and Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8 computers, as the operating systems are simply too old to give a toss about. The company announced the bad news (for a few people, anyway) on the official Google Chrome blog this week.

Microsoft and Apple have long since given up on their OSes of yesteryear, no longer rolling out the security patches and updates necessary to make them safe to use. From April next year Google will pull the plug too, which essentially means that Chrome will continue to function, but will quickly become just as dodgy to use as Internet Explorer.
