Google's "Accelerated" AMP Mobile Pages Coming in 2016

By Gary Cutlack on at

Google has attached an "early next year" launch date to its AMP Project, a system it's put together to encourage Triple-A publishers to build ultra-lightweight web pages that use a common code structure -- so appear quickly across a variety of devices.

The bad news is that Google's update says it's working on ways to "improve the advertising experience" with key advertising providers, so... it's all about getting you to look at and hopefully accidentally click on the ads. As ever. [Google]
