David Cameron Tweets His Tim Peake #BritinSpace Moment – and Of Course Inspires a Meme

Politicians on Twitter. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Like many around the world this morning, Prime Minister David Cameron watched as British space hero Tim Peake made his dramatic flight up towards the International Space Station. And, like many watching, Dave tweeted about how exciting it all was:

However, when it comes to Cameron (or any recognisable figure, for that matter) tweeting, it almost certainly ends up being a chance for Joe Public to give the leader a ribbing. And with hilarious results: maybe it was Cameron's chillaxed pose, or just the soft mood lighting, but the Photoshop-versed Twitterati are having a field day giving the Prime Minister's post a humourous makeover:

Here's hoping Peake himself doesn't share a similar fate when he starts tweeting and Instagramming from up at the ISS. [Twitter]
