A limited edition Stratocaster guitar is being assembled by rock enabler Fender, one that'll add instant punk credentials to any rock star by associating him or her with the tube map.
Just 50 of the Underground map guitars will be made, and they'll be sold through the London Transport Museum. Fender got a man called James Black to hold it at the bottom of some escalators as an elderly man looked on, such is the gravity of the release, plus Transport for London is also sending out photos of it looking moody.
It's all part of the London by Design season, a collection of local events celebrating the impact the city's transport infrastructure and its many posters, logos and maps have had on the arts and design world, having become somewhat word famous over the last 150 years. [Twitter]
